Statutory Requirements: |
The Committee shall consist of 7 persons, appointed by the Minister. Of the members: (a) one shall be an officer of the Department who shall be the Chairman of the Committee; and (b) the remainder shall be persons who in the opinion of the Minister, have expertise in product safety.

Requirements: |
A member of the Committee shall be appointed for a term of 12 months. On the expiration of any period of appointment, a member of the Committee shall be eligible to be re-appointed. |
