Statutory Requirements: Comprising the Minister for Indigenous Affairs as Chair, Directors General of relevant State Government agencies: Department of the Premier and Cabinet, Executive Director, Policy Office, Department of the Premier and Cabinet - (Ex-officio Member), Department of Indigenous Affairs, Department of Education, Department of Health, Department of Justice, Department of Community Development, Department of Housing and Works, Department of Industry and Technology, Commissioner, Western Australian Police Service. The Western Australian State Managers of the following Commonwealth agencies: Department of Health and Ageing, Department of Family and Community Services, Department of Education, Science and Training, Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, Department of Transport and Regional Services.
Requirements: Membership to the Committee is exclusive to the above positions and cannot be replaced by deputies. However, officials of member agencies may attend to present specific agenda items in the absence of the committee member.
