Statutory Requirements: |
(1) The Council is to comprise:(a) the chief executive officer of the department; and
(b) not less than 6 nor more than 18 other persons appointed as members by the Minister. (2) The Minister is to ensure, as far as is practicable, that each person appointed to the Council has expertise that in the Minister's opinion is relevant to the functions of the Council and that the composition of the Council is representative of the interests of the people of the State. (3) The Minister is to appoint a chairperson of the Council from among the appointed members of the Council.
