Statutory Requirements: |
board of directors comprising:
(a) the Managing Director by virtue of his or her office; and (b) 7 persons appointed by the Governor on the nomination of the Minister, of whom: (i) 2 shall be representative of the Government of the State; (ii) 2 shall be representative of the Government of the Commonwealth and proposed by the Commonwealth Minister;
(iii) one shall be representative of Murdoch University; (iv) one shall be a person possessing knowledge of both solar energy technology and the energy market in developing countries; and (v) one shall be a person possessing both a commercial background and knowledge of the operations of international development organizations or multilateral development agencies or both. The Minister shall appoint one of the appointed directors to be the chairperson of the Board for such period as is specified in the instrument of that appointment. |
