Statutory Requirements: |
The Marine Authority comprises 7 members, appointed by the Governor on the nomination of the Minister. The members are to be persons who, in the opinion of the Minister, have knowledge and experience or a particular function or vocational interest which is relevant to the functions of the Marine Authority. One of the members shall, on the nomination of the Minister, be appointed by the Governor as chairman of the Marine Authority and another as deputy chairman.
