Statutory Requirements: |
A person is qualified to be appointed under clause 2 as the Chief Assessor or as an Assessor if he or she: (a) is a lawyer; or (b) is a barrister or solicitor of the Supreme Court of another State or a Territory, of at least 8 years' standing and practice. Chief Assessor and Assessors are appointed by the Governor for terms not exceeding 5 years. Appointees eligible for reappointment. |
