Statutory Requirements: |
The Board shall consist of 5 members of whom: (a) one shall be a chairman appointed by the Governor in accordance with the requirements of the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act 1993 (SIS Act); (b) 2 shall be elected in accordance with the regulations by the members of the Fund; and (c) 2 shall be appointed in accordance with the regulations by the employers. The members of the Fund may in accordance with the regulations elect a person to be an alternate member of the Board. The employers may in accordance with the regulations appoint a person to be an alternate member of the Board.

Requirements: |
the chairman of the Board holds office for such period not exceeding 3 years as is specified in the instrument of appointment and is eligible for reappointment; an elected member and an appointed member other than an alternate member hold office for a period ending 2 years after the occurrence of that vacancy |
