Statutory Requirements: |
The members of the Authority are to be: (a) one person appointed as its Chairman; (b) 2 other persons appointed from amongst: (i) persons who produce grain in Western Australia; or (ii) members or shareholders of bodies that produce grain in Western Australia; (c) one other person appointed from amongst persons who are employed in the Department; and (d) one other person appointed from amongst persons who are employed in the department of the Public Service principally assisting the Treasurer in the administration of the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1985 and who have experience in financial markets, international trade, marketing, law or other such relevant fields.
